Your presence is still indispensable.

Although I write stuff personal as well as professional, but this is the first time that I would let anyone read it.

We Indians often dedicate our new beginning to God, I dedicate my this start to that one person who has always been there for me, showered his blessings on me, taught me the difference between right and wrong, who has made me walk on my li'l toes- my dad!

People often say that life moves on, no matter if your loved ones exit your life. I surely agree but I also agree to the fact that the incompleteness of life without them could never be neglected. There hasn't been a single day when I have not missed him and my life still holds that hollowness which arose when he went away.

Daughters are closer to their father, they say!

I still remember the day I cooked my first chapatti. My mom was yelling at me, "Look at the shape. Is it Australia?" When I served it to my dad, keep aside the chapatti, he was proud of me, realizing that his cute li'l fatty daughter who once bounced towards him when he returned from work saying, 'aaj kya laaye aap mere liye?' is now a grown up. He kissed my forehead and handed me shagun. His soul felt pleasing just looking at me. I can never forget the smile on his face that day.

Even now when I look back in time, I cherish those cute daddy-daughter moments. You'll always be missed, always!

People... Realize the importance of your loved ones because when they go (God Forbid!), they leave an indispensable void in your life.
